Tony Foreman, Wine Director, General Manager and Co-Owner

Prior to establishing Charleston, Tony partnered with his wife, Cindy Wolf, in conceptualizing and successfully operating Savannah in Fell's Point.

Before Savannah, Tony worked as a "trouble-shooting" general manager for a number of Capital Restaurants properties. He helped pioneer Georgia Brown's in Washington, D.C. and revitalized the very classic River Club supper club. Among his many achievements is the execution of Resto des Amis, the restaurant of Jean Louis Palladin and Guenter Seeger in Atlanta.

Other past managerial experience includes General Manager of D.C.'s Restaurant 701 and Service Manager/Sommelier of The Occidental. Tony earned a degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Widener University in Pennsylvania and holds a Sommelier Certification from the school in Colmar.

Tony has hand selected Charleston's list of more than 600 wines. Acquiring many wines directly from vintners, Tony works hard at obtaining rare, almost un-gettable bottles. An epicure with a genuine passion for taking care of his guests, Tony is delighted to assist Charleston diners in choosing the perfect wine.

Cindy and Tony's current collaboration is Petit Louis, a classic French bistro in Baltimore's Roland Park, and folks are just starting to buzz about their next venture...
