SPOILED ROTTEN

Hell hath no fury like a disappointed kid

Featuring a custom-built, rapid physics engine allowing countless trajectory possibilities centered on the antics of an angry child upset with his Christmas gifts. Built in Flash 8, its initial release featured a high scoring system granting 15 top scorers a chance to win iPods. My 5-year-old son (at the time) and star of the game was filmed in front of a green screen and edited for Flash in After Effects. The game’s background music features a licensed audio track of ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’, the sound effects were recorded from scratch at the price of a few broken plates purchased from The Dollar Store. The entire development cycle for the game was one month and it saw over 5 million visitors in the first few months.
