In creating the world of Kira, a cross platform experience, I developed a new form of navigation specifically for wearable tech. The result is a very intuitive, hands-free, gaze system that expands the potential of Virtual Reality experiences.
The system can be implemented in any Unity 3D-based, VR environment. Reconfigurable motion paths allow for elegant movement, removing the need for clumsy hand held controllers.
Location art and hover timer UI can be swapped out for campaign specific designs and the system can also be applied to selection functionality.
